This is the latest model of Minecraft. I own it on iPad, so I just downloaded the .ipa file from my iPad and it put in effective on my Mac. It runs very fast, and allows as much as an eighty chunk draw distance. I used a PS4 controller to play. It will possibly connect via bluetooth or USB.

This is not perfect yet, because it ought to play full display screen/res vs. playing in a window. But my level is that it will be trivial for Microsoft to replace this to work completely on this Mac.

Let me know when you have any questions or if there's a specific factor you want to see me do like hook up with a server or download something from the shop (all of which work). Or I can play multiplayer when you wish to see that.

Sorry there is no such thing as a sound in the recording. It would not seem like the macOS inbuilt screen recorder can seize sound. I can guarantee you all Minecraft sounds are working nice.

Wait, how would you update this? Would it's important to update it on your iPad and download the .ipa to your Mac once more? And the place are the world recordsdata saved?

I hope Mojang updates bedrock to work with M1 Macs. Until then, you should use Bignox, an Android Emulator, on your Mac. The explanation I say Bignox as a substitute of BlueStacks is as a result of for Minecraft PE, Bignox has built in controls.

Then why not leverage it as a Xbox unique also? They ported the bedrock version to Playstation 4.

Yes. Something you may have updated in your iPad seems in iMazing and you may obtain the .ipa once more. I just upgraded to the most recent model this way and it works shortly and simply.

And, they presently have it beneath macOS for Java. Bedrock would join an excellent variety of customers already in the macOS ecosystem with their In App Purchases, which would make them no small amount of cash, likely worth taking the small effort to tweak the iOS model. Plus, they wouldn’t need to support the Java version natively on M1 machines.

I’d be surprised in the event that they didn’t have someone engaged on this already.

Operating the iPhone ipa works high quality on my M1 MacBook Pro high quality, however the controller support seems damaged, it drifts and sticks, so it is always spinning off in random directions.

Anybody else operating into controller issues with Minecraft on an M1?

I've tried it with a bluetooth PS4 controller and a older Nimbus controller through lighting cable.

Yes. As of Huge Sur 11.1 all iOS apps can run full display screen.

Caveats:
- It's 4:3 on a 16:9 screen so you find yourself with black bars on the sides.
- The decrease resolution is more noticeable when in full display.

Remember that is principally the iPad app working on Mac. It's totally fast because it runs native. Nonetheless there are limitations because it doesn't really "know" it is on a higher resolution MacBook/Mini.

Just fired it up and played a while using my DS4 on Bluetooth. No drift or another issues. Normally that could be what occurs when the stick is dying (I've a pair lifeless DS4s with this problem). However that is odd if it's happening with two different controllers. Do you will have a special DS4 you possibly can attempt? What model Minecraft are you operating (lower proper nook on fundamental menu).

Does the issue occur immediately, or only after you play for a while? I only performed about 10 minutes tonight; but may attempt longer tomorrow.

If you employ spotlight to search for "Minecraft" you will find the worlds. On my machine the trail seems to be like this:

Code:
/Users/MK500/Library/Containers/blah-blah-lengthy-code-right here/Information/Paperwork/games/com.mojang

Can you send a video tutorial for this? I am unsure how you'd get the new world recordsdata to the new .ipa. Also, for those who install Minecraft via iOS, will the decision/side ratio like an iPad or an iPhone? (sorry for late reply, one way or the other i did not get an electronic mail notification)
Edit: actually nvm, i discovered a youtube remark saying you possibly can launch app store in imazing and obtain updates that method (syncing via wi-fi)

Because it occurs I did this yesterday. I used the Apple Configurator 2 technique, however it's much the identical. Quite simple, but the trick was to airdrop the .ipa to the Apple Silicon Mac (i.e. use one other Mac to get the .ipa from the iPad after which airdrop). This step removes the "you don't have permission to run this" error message.

The aspect ratio is 4:3, so in full screen I've black bars on both aspect on my 16:9 32" 4K show.

The .ipa is the app, not your world or save files. You'll need to retrieve these via your account or airdrop the world information. In my case the world we used was a realm, so just log-in along with your Microsoft account for Minecraft. I have used airdrop to transfer worlds to and from my kids's devices.

I mean, I suppose that is kinda annoying you have to do that every update, however it is not too bad. And it's operating natively, so that is good.

Most likely simply wishful thinking, however I wondered if the following replace might carry official M1 help for bedrock Minecraft with native display sizing and an option keyboard and mouse controls.

I also used my M1 mini (16GB/1TB) as a Minecraft server using ARM64 Java. Predictably no drawback at all for the mini.

I can by no means get keyboard and mouse to work on iPad or M1. I don't perceive why it is displaying to have keyboard support however nothing works. Is there a particular setting I am missing? The only solution to play is thru controller it appears.

Same right here. Have to use a controller (or touch display screen on iPad). Mouse on M1 acts like a finger on touchscreen. Keyboard is just for chat/commands. Unusual that they left the redundant keyboard mouse part of the settings menu in when it does nothing.

You're not missing settings: regardless of iOS 14's current addition for apps to add keyboard controls, Mojang hasn't added that into Minecraft PE. The only approach is a controller, until Mojang adds that in.

It is strange, why have it there if it's useless?

The worlds usually are not removed once you update the app, as they're saved in a special location. So you possibly can safely replace without shedding your data.

For now it is again doable to install iOS apps to M1. It is unsure how lengthy this is. So, might need to download and install while it's possible. The iAmaizing2 answer worked for me.
